Originally designed for the rooms of The Laslett Hotel in Notting Hill, London, the Gil is crafted from powder-coated steel and stands on a cast iron base topped by a hand spun aluminium shade.

A 90mm aperture in the top of the shade allows it to function as both an up-light and a table lamp.
